About Us
About Us
Almondbury Playgroup was registered in 1967 and is run by a voluntary management group of parents. We have a maximum number of 20 children that may attend the preschool at any one time. We welcome children from aged two to five years and offer great support for children with learning difficulties and disabilities. We're located in the grounds of All Hallows Primary School and attendance at Almondbury Playgroup is taken into consideration as part of their admissions policy. We believe in development and learning through fun and creativity.
To provide a safe, welcoming and happy environment for children.
To provide exciting and stimulating planned play opportunities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
To enable each child to achieve their fullest potential in their all-round development.
To listen to each child and make them feel comfortable and happy leaving their parents possibly for the first time.
To make children aware of all cultures and celebrations in a fun and interesting way so that they can understand and celebrate diversity.
To provide an equal opportunity for all.
To promote a key person system that encourages positive partnerships between practitioners, parents and children.
